Besides the normal size, location and dollar attridutes of a property. I always like to consider resale too. There are a few factors one should consider to increase upward potential in a property in palm Springs, California.

I like to point out that Southern exposure is preferable.  In the Summer,  the sun is overhead most of the day.  Late in the afternoon and early morning, it hits the sides of the house rather than directly on the front or back.

Most Buyers want a view of some sort.  It could be the mountains, a pool, golf course, skyline, or just the trees.  Preferably it isn't a street or row of carports.

The wind factor is important in the Palm Springs desert.  The closer one gets tot the I10 corridor, the windier it gets.  The dividing line seems to be along Vista Chino.  The North is windier than the South.  If you happen to be in a windy area.  It is better to have your home break the wind so that you have a windfree zone in your yard.  The wind usually blows from the Northwest. 

The there is the privacy factor.  Buyers prefer not to have any windows looking at their rear yards and high walls.  Skinny dipping and nudity are popular!
